Users can access items for which they don't have privileges
If you've set up a share point that contains folders, users may be able to use a Web browser to directly access the folders even though you've restricted access to the share point. This is because access privileges for Web services (that is, connections over HTTP) work differently than for other services. You may need to set up your share points differently, and you may need to change access privileges. When using Web services, users can access folders located anywhere in a share point without navigating through the hierarchy of folders. Other services (file sharing and FTP) require the user to navigate through the hierarchy of a share point; if access is restricted to the share point, the user can't gain access to folders within the share point.
